The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, St. Patrick Conference, provides financial services and help to the needy throughout Amador County. Our help varies depending on the particular requirements of any given person or family but often translates to assistance with rent, food, utilities, medical drugs, and automobile expenses. This is made possible only through the generous donations of our parishioners who truly never let the needy be "forgotten."

The St. Patrick Conference includes members from most parish churches and provides assistance to those in need throughout all of Amador County. It has three two-people teams on duty weekly to answer calls for help in the Jackson-Pioneer, Ione-Comanche, and Plymouth-Fiddletown areas. Each team is on duty every four or five weeks and we meet monthly at the St. Katharine Drexel Parish Center to share our experiences and keep coordinated on the calls we receive.
